CAIRO, Oct 28 (Aswat Masriya) - The Egyptian authorities have thwarted several attempts of illegal immigration during the third week of October, the military spokesman announced on his official Facebook page on Tuesday.
The statement said that 153 illegal migrants were captured in Egypt's eastern and southern border governorates of Matrouh, 108 of them are Egyptians, 39 Syrians, three Palestinians, one Sudanese, one Ethiopian and one Eritrean.
The army spokesman also said they thwarted attempts to smuggle goods.
