SUEZ, May 10 (Aswat Masriya) Suez Governor al-Araby al-Soroury said on Saturday that the Cairo-Sokhna Road has been opened again after its temporary shut down on Thursday due to floods, Egypt's state news agency said.

Soroury added that the general board concerned with roads and traffic and armed forces were able to contain the damage caused by the floods in the al-Zaafarana area.

The governor explained that the floods required intervention from the armed forces.
