Illicit Gains Authority orders arrest of Fathi Sorour

Assistant to head of Egypt’s Illicit Gains Authority, Yehia Galal, ordered the arrest of former parliament speaker Fathi Sorour as he failed to attend Sunday’s interrogation on his assets.
The authority summoned Sorour on Thursday but his attorneys asked for the interrogation to be adjourned in light of his health condition.
The interrogation was rescheduled for Sunday but Sorour again failed to attend.
