Pope Tawadros II to Egyptians: Express your opinion but respect the other

Pope Tawadros II, head of Egypt’s Coptic Orthodox Church, urged demonstrators to keep their protests peaceful and refrain from using violence on Sunday.
“Egyptians, please participate and express your opinion, but respect the other,” the Pope wrote on his Twitter account.
“Egypt is our country … It is our duty to protect it against violence and assault,” he added.
