The April 6th Youth Movement “Ahmed Maher’s Front” launched on Thursday an initiative to monitor President Mohamed Morsi in his first 100 days in office, encouraging all Egyptians to supervise Morsi’s performance.

According to a statement issued by the movement, the initiative’s goal is to raise public awareness on overseeing the president during his term.

The initiative includes four campaigns: first, “What is your dream?” is to know what people dream of, politically and socially speaking, and what they want to achieve in the country, in order to present what the people want to the president.

The second campaign is “The street’s pulse” campaign, which aims to survey public opinion on the performance of Morsi as president and to present these surveys to the president.

The third campaign is “Clothing,” which is a charity campaign to provide clothes at a cheap price to the poor, while the “Ramadan” campaign, is another charity initiative to provide food supplies at cheap prices during the holy month of Ramadan.

The April 6th Youth Movement “Ahmed Maher Front” endorsed Morsi in the presidential run-offs with certain conditions, including that he resign from both Freedom and Justice Party and the Muslim Brotherhood, and form a technocratic Cabinet headed by a non-Muslim Brotherhood figure.
