CAIRO, Sept 10 (Aswat Masriya) - Egypt's annual inflation rate has declined to 7.9 percent in August from 8.3 percent in July, the Central Agency for Public Mobilization and Statistics (CAPMAS) has announced in a recently issued statement.
The general index of consumer prices points to an increase of 0.6 within a month.
The government expects to reduce the inflation rate to be around 10 to 11% in 2015-2016 and around 7 to 8% by the year 2018-2019.
