CAIRO, Sept 3 (Aswat Masriya) - Egypt's cabinet approved on Wednesday issuing a unified license for all communication companies, according to certain conditions, Hossam Koriesh, cabinet spokesman, told Aswat Masriya.

A unified license allows all telecommunication companies to provide both landline and mobile services, in addition to internet services. 

So far, The Egyptian company for telecommunication is the only company that provides landline services, while Mobinil, Etisalat and Vodafone provide mobile services. 

National telecommunication regulatory authority has approved the unified license a few days earlier and referred it to the cabinet for approval.
