Egypt's irrigation minister in discussions with EU delegation over 1 mln feddan project

Egypt's Minister of Irrigation Hossam Moghazi met with European Union delegation to discuss Egypt's One Million Feddan land reclamation project, state media reports.
The project is part of a larger scheme to reclaim a total of four million feddans (acres) of land for cultivation, including land outside the Nile Valley, home to most of Egypt's arable land.
The project is was a cornerstone of President El-Sisi's electoral programme.
