Egyptian minister expects municipal elections to be held within a year
Municipal elections are expected to be held within a year after a draft local administration law gets discussed in the parliament, Egypt’s local development minister said in a press conference on Wednesday.

Overall turnout rate of parliamentary elections 28.3 pct – SEC
The Supreme Electoral Commission (SEC) announced Friday the average turnout rate of voters in first and second phase of elections to be approximately 28.3 percent, a total 15,206,010 voters out of 53,786,762 eligible voters.

Less than half of round one voters turn up in run-off of phase two of elections abroad
